Imagine This: The Butlers Pantry at the 2012 Richmond Symphony Designer House

There’s some exciting news at Kathy Corbet Interiors! My design was selected for this year’s Butler’s Pantry! Check out the drawing:

In case you haven’t been before, The Richmond Symphony Orchestra League’s Designer House is the area’s premier chance to see interior designers flex their skills and show off some of the coolest home décor trends. Every two years, the League chooses a Richmond house and lets designers run wild, making every room eye catching and beautiful. This year’s event will take place September 10 through October 12. You can also catch a bare bones “before” tour on Thursday, August 7, to see the house before the designers transform it.

My design for the Butler’s Pantry was created on my computer. This technology is an amazing way for you to visualize your room before we do any work. When designing on a computer, I can even scan in a photo of a room and add elements right on top of it—it’s such a great way to see what your furniture will look like before you buy.

Back to the Designer House, I’m still deciding on a light fixture to go over the table. Maybe you can help! The drawing above features a chandelier.

This one features a drum chandelier

And this one features a lantern.
